I got a chance to sit in the backyard blind again yesterday for about an hour and 1/2 before dark. It was very pretty as the rain had stopped. The golden yellow Poplar leaves were raining down around me pretty steady. It was relaxing, but there was no action except for the ever present squirrels. I learned later from my cam that the local does were there around noon time.
I moved my camera to my mock scrape and freshened it up a tad.
This morning I pulled the card and saw that only a kittie cat had visited during the night. I hope he ate some of the voles around my yard!
It will be interesting to see if I get any bucks come around and check it out in the next few weeks.
